WEF demands 75% global reduction of cars by 2050

By Iron Will / June 8, 2023 /

The World Economic Forum (WEF) Great Reset agenda was on full blast recently after the organization published a blueprint to drastically cut the number of personal vehicles globally from 1.45 billion to 500 million by the year 2050.

WEF demands 75% global reduction of cars by 2050
If achieved, the massive cut to car ownership would be a 75% reduction in the total number of cars in the entire world.

Why do we need personal vehicles if we’re all confined to our WEF-mandated 15-minute cities anyways, right?

The white paper titled The Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility was co-authored with Visa and demands that municipalities put limits on the use of private cars.

California’s Gov. Newsom Proposes 28th Amendment to Limit Gun Rights, Impose ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban

By Iron Will / June 8, 2023 /

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has proposed a 28th amendment to the U.S. Constitution to curtail specific aspects of gun rights.

“Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution,” Newsom said in a Thursday press statement announcing the proposed amendment. “So today, I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment will enshrine in the Constitution common sense gun safety measures that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and gun owners overwhelmingly support—while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.”

Mr. Bean Actor Says the Electric Car ‘Honeymoon’ Is Over

By Iron Will / June 8, 2023 /

The actor and comedian behind the popular Mr. Bean character has called on drivers to hold off buying an electric vehicle (EV), saying the environmental benefits do not stack up.

Rowan Atkinson, a long-time motor enthusiast with a degree and master’s in electrical engineering, said current EV technology was more harmful to the environment than it was worth.

“Increasingly, I’m feeling that our honeymoon with electric cars is coming to an end, and that’s no bad thing: we’re realising that a wider range of options need to be explored if we’re going to properly address the very serious environmental problems that our use of the motor car has created,” Atkinson wrote in The Guardian newspaper.

He pointed to figures released by automotive giant Volvo revealing that greenhouse gas emissions during the EV production process were 70 percent higher than building a petrol car.

ArriveCan Use Down To 11%

By Iron Will / June 6, 2023 /

Only a tenth of air travelers are using the costly ArriveCan app since it was made voluntary, records show. Use of the app had been mandatory until last October 1.

The Department of Public Safety in an Inquiry Of Ministry tabled in the Commons said of 9.97 million air travelers who entered Canada in the first quarter of the year a total 1.13 million or 11 percent used the ArriveCan app. Usage rates were as low as “less than one percent” at international airports in Edmonton, Winnipeg and Ottawa.

The figures were tabled at the request of Conservative MP John Nater (Perth-Wellington, Ont.) who asked, “How many travelers entered Canada after January 1 and how many submitted their information through ArriveCan prior to their arrival?”

Cabinet had justified ArriveCan as a time saver for travelers by submitting personal information and vaccination status to Customs agents prior to arrival. Program costs totaled $54 million, prompting the Commons to vote last November 2 for a special audit of spending. Results are pending.
