By Iron Will / June 27, 2023 /

Whether or not it is a direct countermovement to so-called Pride Month, the initiative is undoubtedly countercultural.

initiative to rebrand June “Fidelity Month” is gaining steam among religious conservatives who share the Princeton professor’s desire to “rededicate” ourselves to our families, communities, country, and God.

“If polls are to be believed, there has been a precipitous decline in Americans’ belief in the importance of patriotism, religion, marriage and family, and community—values that, broadly speaking, have throughout our history united Americans despite our many differences,” George wrote on Twitter late last month. “By the authority vested in me by absolutely no one, I’ve declared June to be ‘Fidelity Month’—a month dedicated to renewing fidelity to God, spouses and families, our country, and our communities.”

By Iron Will / June 27, 2023 /

Two 14 year-old girls have written an open letter to the Education Secretary Gillian Keegan ahead of the forthcoming Department for Education draft transgender schools guidance. The girls have to remain anonymous for reasons that will become clear by reading their letter. The letter was first published on the website of the excellent Transgender Trend, whose motto is “No child is born in the wrong body”. You can donate here.

Dear Gillian Keegan

With the release of the Department for Education’s transgender guidance quickly approaching, we – two 14 year-old girls in separate secondary schools – want to contribute our thoughts to the discussion. There is a lack of student voices on this issue and it’s vital to have some perspective of what it’s like in a school environment where dissenting voices are stifled, extreme ideologies are presented as fact and girls are injured by boys in mixed-sex sport.

By Iron Will / June 26, 2023 /

Germany’s highest administrative court has struck down bans against peaceful prayer gatherings near abortion facilities because they violate the country’s constitution.

The Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig, one of five supreme courts in Germany, ruled on June 20 that bans against prayer vigils outside of abortion clinics encroach upon the constitutional right of freedom of assembly as guaranteed by the Basic Law of 1949, the constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany.

It is a major win for the pro-life advocacy group 40 Days for Life led by Pavica Vojnović. A regional court already had confirmed the group’s right to peaceful assembly in August 2022, but that ruling was appealed by the city of Pforzheim. The new ruling confirms that the city has no appeal
