By Iron Will / June 7, 2023 /

On this week’s solo episode of The Van Maren Show, Jonathon considers questions as to whether or not Western society will accept infanticide.

Jonathon examines the question in light of a waning “Judeo-Christian culture,” observing that “we are seeing evidence that the sanctity of human life was harnessed to our Judeo-Christian heritage,” and that as cultural values become divorced from our Judeo-Christian heritage, “those values begin to slip.”

Matt Walsh Undercover Investigation Catches Trans Health Care Providers ‘Rubber-Stamping’ Sex-Change Surgeries

By Iron Will / June 7, 2023 /

Some of the nation’s largest transgender “health care” providers are rubber-stamping approvals for life-altering sex-change procedures — and even falsely representing health diagnoses of patients — so insurance companies will cover the medical expenses, Daily Wire host Matt Walsh revealed in a tweet thread Wednesday.

In an undercover investigation, Walsh and his team discovered how easy it is to get approved for sex-change surgery when one of the host’s producers got a thumbs up for an orchiectomy — a procedure to remove testicles — after just a 22-minute virtual appointment with Plume, the largest transgender health care provider in the U.S.

The Justice Centre to support Harvest Ministries in fight against the arbitrary cancellation of Québec City event

By Iron Will / June 7, 2023 /

QUEBEC CITY: The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms is funding the legal representation of Harvest Ministries International, a Christian organisation based in British Columbia, in a case that sounds like something out of a dystopian novel.

On or about June 2, 2023, Québec’s Minister of Tourism, Caroline Proulx, instructed the CEO of the Société du Centre des congrès de Québec in Québec City to cancel the rental of a hall planned for a religious, cultural and artistic event organised by Harvest Ministries. Minister Proulx and CEO Pierre-Michel Bouchard made no secret of the fact: their decision to cancel the contract was in response to the rally’s allegedly anti-abortion theme, which was said to contradict fundamental Québec principles.

Oxfam apologises for ‘offence’ from cartoon resembling JK Rowling

By Iron Will / June 7, 2023 /

Charity takes down Pride Month promo video amid Terf badge criticism but stands its ground on JK Rowling denial
Oxfam International has apologised “for the offence caused” by a now-deleted cartoon, which attracted criticism for an unflattering resemblance between a woman with a Terf badge and JK Rowling.

The charity removed the video from social media, edited out the woman in question, and reposted the cartoon with a reaffirmation of its commitment to “make an important point about the real harm caused by transphobia”.

Oxfam International has admitted that it made a “mistake” in including a badge with the term ‘Terf’ (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist) which is a derogatory term used to describe those critical of gender-diverse individuals.

Responding to those drawing visual comparisons between the cartoon woman and the Harry Potter author, the charity affirmed that “there was no intention by Oxfam or the film-makers for this slide to have portrayed any particular person or people.”
