Arson Driven Wildfires Being Used As Catalyst For Canadian FEMA

By Iron Will / June 10, 2023 /

During the most catastrophic forest fires in all of Canadian history, experienced local firefighters are being side-lined. Retired forestry technician Peter MacIsaac, put together an experienced team of firefighters with over two hundred years of experience. He contacted the government and offered to volunteer their support. But they were denied.

While the government lets Canada burn, they blame Climate Change. But other than all the fires, nothing significant has changed. And the massive amount of wildfires just started a few years ago. So what happened?

Female-Only Spa With Compulsory Nudity Must Admit ‘Transgender Women’ With Penises: Judge

By Iron Will / June 10, 2023 /

A spa that for years has served only women must admit men if they claim to be women, a judge has ruled.

The constitutional rights of the owners, employees, and patrons of the Olympus Spa in Washington state weren’t infringed when officials in the state ordered the facility to provide services to “transgender women” with male genitalia, Washington District Court Judge Barbara Jacobs Rothstein said in a June 5 ruling.

The spa was described by its owners, who are Christian, as being designed based on the belief that “a male and a female should not ordinarily be in each other’s presence while in the nude unless married to each other,” according to a complaint filed by the owners.

Smith pledges arson investigation into 175 wildfires with no known cause

By Iron Will / June 9, 2023 /

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says her government will hire arson investigators from outside the province following an unseasonably early and destructive wildfire season.

Fires in Alberta reached a crisis point in early May, just days into the provincial election campaign, and during a time when the provincial firefighters typically undergo firefighting training exercises.

As fires burned across the province’s north, some reports of arson emerged.

China Carefree Like Belgium

By Iron Will / June 9, 2023 /

China is as carefree a travel destination as Belgium, according to risk ratings by the Department of Foreign Affairs. A member of the Senate foreign affairs committee yesterday questioned the claim given hostage takings and arbitrary detention of more than 120 Canadians in China.

“There are four risk levels,” said Senator Michael MacDonald (N.S.), pointing to categories of travel advisories issued by the department. “China is included with Belgium and the United Kingdom.”

“Why would China have a Level Two categorization the same as the United Kingdom and Belgium?” asked Senator MacDonald, adding he was “very surprised” given the 2018 police kidnappings of two Canadian business consultants in Beijing, Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig. The pair spent nearly three years in detention.

“That advice is composed of many different factors,” replied David Morrison, deputy foreign minister. “Some of it would be political risk.” Other factors were “just plain criminality,” added Morrison.

“I certainly accept at times there will be counterintuitive results,” testified Morrison. “I suspect as I say that could be because of petty theft, criminality, those kinds of risks to Canadians rather than the kind of Two Michaels risks.”

Muslims and Christians unite, trample radical trans-pride flag in the streets of Ottawa

By Shawna / June 9, 2023 /

Chants of “Leave Our Kids Alone” were met with the shrill (and rather bizarre) counter-chant of “We Love Trans Kids” by pro-trans grooming enthusiasts. Police officers lined the streets and hovered the flanks as both sides slowly inched closer to closer… until. CHAOS. Violent Antifa thugs, draped in rainbow-alphabet regalia, black balaclava and black gloves began assaulting protestors and parents in front of their children.

Canada’s burning because of bad forest policy, not climate change

By Iron Will / June 9, 2023 /

Unless you’ve been living in an underground cave, you’re aware that there’s been a massive explosion of forest fire activity across Canada that’s sending clouds of smoke south to our American neighbours. Not surprisingly, they’re not happy—the orange skies are more than a bit reminiscent of Hollywood post-apocalyptic movies.

Here at home, our usual opportunistic climate alarmists including Prime Minister Trudeau, Environment Minister Guilbeault and the irrepressible Elizabeth May blame the flames on climate change (and not their leadership in Canadian forest policy). And the only cure is to end fossil fuel use.

But let’s bring some facts to the hysteria. First, the climate is indeed warming. According to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the global average atmospheric temperature is rising globally, and according to one analysis, twice as fast in Canada. (Of course, how much of this warming is human-driven is a different story.)

First Random Pot Tests OK’d

By Iron Will / June 8, 2023 /

The first federal employer to introduce random workplace marijuana testing has won a Federal Court judgment upholding the practice, it said. The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission yesterday described random tests as essential though they were struck down by the Supreme Court a decade ago.

“The Federal Court endorsed the Commission’s move to require pre-placement and random alcohol and drug testing in safety critical positions at high security nuclear facilities,” the Commission said in a statement. Neither the nuclear regulator nor Federal Court released the text of the judgment.

The Commission in 2021 enacted random workplace drug tests following Parliament’s 2018 legalization of marijuana. “We are proud to have been the first,” said Rumina Velshi, CEO of the Commission.

California’s Gov. Newsom Proposes 28th Amendment to Limit Gun Rights, Impose ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban

By Iron Will / June 8, 2023 /

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has proposed a 28th amendment to the U.S. Constitution to curtail specific aspects of gun rights.

“Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution,” Newsom said in a Thursday press statement announcing the proposed amendment. “So today, I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment will enshrine in the Constitution common sense gun safety measures that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and gun owners overwhelmingly support—while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.”
