University of Cincinnati student alleges professor failed her for using the term ‘biological women’

By Iron Will / June 5, 2023 /

A sophomore at the University of Cincinnati claims that her professor gave her a zero on a college project for using the term “biological women.”

Olivia Krolczyk, 20, said the professor for her Women’s Gender Studies in Pop Culture class failed her for using the “exclusionary” term despite admitting that she submitted a “solid proposal,” the student told The Post.

The course instructed students to pick a topic related to feminism, with Krolczyk choosing to research the changes female athletes have experienced throughout history and the rights and opportunities they have been awarded and fought for in athletics.

Her project discussed things from the first woman to compete in the Olympic Games to the fight that female athletes like Riley Gaines are making for proposed changes to Title IX.

Oxford College Threatens to Expel Students Who Misgender Trans Peers

By Iron Will / June 2, 2023 /

It looks like at least one Oxford college didn’t get the memo. In a step backwards following Kathleen Stock’s successful event at the Oxford Union earlier this week, Regent’s Park College has issued a “trans inclusion statement” that threatens students who persistently misgender their trans peers with expulsion. The Telegraph has more.

Students at the University of Oxford could be expelled for misgendering their peers under a college’s new transgender harassment policy.

Regent’s Park College – once called home by the goddaughter of the late Diana, Princess of Wales – has launched a campaign against transphobia with a “trans inclusion statement”.

The new policy says that “unlawful discriminatory behaviour, including transphobic harassment or bullying… will be regarded extremely seriously and could be grounds for disciplinary action”.

‘We must do better’: Boston University’s retiring president hits out at graduating students over ‘cancel culture’ after alums shouted obscenities at Warner Bros. Discovery CEO amid writers’ strike

By Iron Will / June 2, 2023 /

A University president has hit back at graduating students for promoting ‘cancel culture’ after booing the Warner Brothers CEO over the ongoing writer’s strike.

David Zaslav, 63, had been speaking to a large crowd as part of their commencement ceremony on Sunday when he was jeered by students.

Now, Boston University President Robert Brown has described the behavior of students as ‘appallingly coarse and deliberately abusive’ and said the University ‘must do better’.

In a scathing opinion piece shared on the Boston University website he wrote: ‘Our students were not picking a fight. They were attempting to implement the cancel culture that has become all too prevalent on university campuses.

‘The hundreds of virtually identical protest emails we received in my office in advance of Commencement came with an explicit ‘cancel’ hashtag, indicating an aim to prevent Mr. Zaslav from speaking.’
