Sesame Street’ Continues Celebrating Pride Month Despite Backlash

The children’s show Sesame Street continued its ongoing celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month this week despite backlash over past tweets. Sharing the multi-colored progress pride flag amid smiling flowers, the official Sesame Street account on Twitter celebrated the month as a time of “inclusion” and other cherished woke buzzwords.

“On our Street, we celebrate inclusion, belonging, and freedom of authentic self-expression. Happy #PrideMonth to all the people in our neighborhoods!” it said.

State of play: The ability to communicate is the No. 1 skill most requested by employers in job postings for new college graduates, according to research by Lightcast.

It’s among a host of people skills that employers seek from recent grads, according to Lightcast, which assessed more than 1.3 million job postings for entry-level workers with a bachelor’s degree.
“There are certain things that AI can’t do,” Lightcast senior economist Rachel Sederberg tells Axios. “And those are going to be increasingly important.”

CAMPUS WATCH: Racially segregated graduation ceremonies taking place at top Canadian universities

Racially segregated graduation ceremonies for black students are taking place at several of Canada’s top universities this year, True North has learned.

Some of the ceremonies are organized by university administrators, while others are organized by black student organizations on campus.

These ceremonies come amid woke segregation being implemented in Canadian post-secondary institutions in the name of “anti-racism” and “equity, diversity and inclusion”

The black graduation ceremonies were held in addition to the standard convocation ceremonies – and that attendance was not mandatory for black students.

Ottawa School Board Tells Teachers to Use They/Them Pronouns for All Students in September

Superintendents at an Ottawa school board sent an email to all staff saying they should start the next school year using they/them pronouns for all students until told their preferred pronouns. It also said teachings about LGBTQ identities should be embedded in the “overall learning environment” and are not “open to debate or selective participation.”

“The intention [of the email was] to suggest some actions that can be taken during Pride Month and beyond to promote inclusivity and belonging in our schools,” said Ottawa-Carleton District School Board spokesperson Darcy Knoll in an email to The Epoch Times. June is Pride Month and the email was sent out on May 31.

NS taxpayers funded fake breasts, prosthetic penises and chest binders for youth

A Nova Scotia youth organization is handing out “gender-affirming items” such as prosthetic breasts, fake penises and chest binders to “two spirit, trans, non-binary or gender questioning youth” under the age of 25.

The Youth Project is a non-profit charity focused on providing gender identity services to youth and the organization lists the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness and the Nova Scotia Department of Education as supporters.
