‘Crisis of Trust’: Journalist Unravels Government’s Secret Campaign to Censor Critics on Social Media

By Roli / February 22, 2024 /

“We’re in a crisis of trust” brought on by “newspapers and … social media companies and the government,” according to investigative journalist Lee Fang.

Fang appeared last week with Stanford epidemiologist Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D., on Bhattacharya’s “Illusion of Consensus” podcast. The two discussed the latest revelations of collusion and deception involving the healthcare industry, the technology sector and government agencies.

The hour-long discussion centered on documented cases of censorship campaigns targeting academics and journalists for speaking scientifically validated truths that threaten powerful special interests.

The Christian genocide ignored by the world

By Iron Will / February 18, 2024 /

HERE in the West we Christians get ourselves hot and bothered about such matters of concern as whether we should attend same-sex weddings, women in leadership positions or the type of worship music we use. Elsewhere in the world church life is dominated by different concerns. In Nigeria, a member of the Commonwealth and the country with the largest mixed Christian/Muslim population in the world, the main concern of Christians is how to avoid being murdered for their faith.

At least 52,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since 2009, reports the International Society for Human Rights and the Rule of Law (Intersociety). Seventeen Christians a day were murdered for reasons related to their faith during the first half of 2020. According to Intersociety, roughly five million Christians have been displaced and forced into Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps within Nigeria and refugee camps at regional and sub-regional borders.

The church in Nigeria is facing what many there describe as a genocide. Open Doors records that more than 365million Christians in the world, that is one in seven, faced high levels of persecution for their faith as of late 2023. Amongst these, Nigeria accounts for almost 90 per cent of all Christians martyred for their faith worldwide. In their latest report, Aid to the Church in Need indicated that more than 7,600 Nigerians had been murdered because they were Christians between January 2021 and June 2022.

Harvard among dozens of colleges still imposing COVID jab mandates on students

By Shawna / February 16, 2024 /

Data compiled by the medical freedom group No College Mandates includes Harvard University and prestigious medical school Johns Hopkins University among the 68 institutions of higher learning.

Exactly how stringent those mandates may be can vary from school to school. Harvard says it is required for “all students who will be on campus” and that “registration holds [for classes] will be automatically applied” who “fall[s] out of compliance at any time for any of the required immunizations.” (Students can apply for medical or religious exemptions, however.)

Johns Hopkins requires vaccination of anyone studying or working on-site, and those who do not comply “may be denied access to Johns Hopkins property and electronic resources” or “subject[ed] to disciplinary action under the Student Conduct Code or the appropriate procedures applicable to faculty and staff.” Fully-remote students or employees are exempt, and there is an application process for medical and religious exemptions.

Canada Ranked Third Among Western Countries for Christian Rights Violations: Report

By Iron Will / February 15, 2024 /

Canada has placed third on a list that tracks the level of rights violations against Christians in Western countries, according to a new report.
The United States topped the list with 58 incidents, followed by the UK with 43 incidents. Canada had 36 cited incidents of rights violations against Christians, according to the report by the Washington-based Family Research Council (FRC).

The report was compiled based on an analysis of open-source documents, reports, and media articles from 34 countries.

“It is shocking to see Western countries—the same ones we think of as free and open societies—take authoritarian measures against Christians simply trying to live out their faith. Hostility toward Bible-believing Christians is clearly and steadily rising in the West,” FRC president Tony Perkins said in the report.

There’s nothing funny about Jew-baiting

By Iron Will / February 14, 2024 /

When did it become acceptable to hound Jewish audience members out of a comedy show?

On Saturday night, at London’s fashionable Soho Theatre, Northern Irish comedian Paul Currie performed a largely non-verbal hour involving mime, slapstick, prop work and audience participation. Towards the end, he produced two final props – two flags, one Ukrainian, one Palestinian. He encouraged support for their respective causes. He then gestured to the audience to get on their feet for a comically contrived standing ovation.

Most of the audience played along. But a few did not. When Currie asked them if they didn’t enjoy the show, one of them said that he was enjoying it, until the flags emerged. He was Israeli.

Accounts vary as to exactly what happened next. According to a report on Chortle, Currie then ordered the man out of the theatre. ‘Leave my fucking show now’, he reportedly shouted. ‘Get out… get the fuck out of my show!’, he repeated. The Israeli audience members did indeed leave. And as they did, the crowd chanted ‘Get out’, ‘Ceasefire now’ and ‘Free Palestine’ at them. In a complaint to the theatre, the Israelis said they felt physically unsafe after crossing the stage under a barrage of abuse.

The ruling was made by the appeal court in The Hague on February 12. The case had been brought by NGOs Oxfam Novib, PAX and The Rights Forum.

Trudeau’s Canada Third On List Of Christian Persecuting Western Nations

By Iron Will / February 13, 2024 /

Canadian media reporting on persecution of Christians is virtually non-existent.

February 9th, 2023:

“A new report from the Family Research Council (FRC) highlights the growing persecution and intolerance towards Christians in the West.”

Well done, say CAP. Those who make an effort to move beyond the media firewall funded by Canada’s Liberal government will discover the incredible imbalance in terms of reporting on the topic of racism.

By way of federally-funded CBC News, the entire dynamic is skewed by cries of “systemic racism,” so-called Islamophobia, and other accusations intended to lower the collective self-esteem of Canadian society.

Christians fuming as ‘alcohol-fuelled Eminem rave’ takes over Canterbury Cathedral

By Valerie / February 7, 2024 /

Christians are protesting a silent disco set to be held at Canterbury Cathedral as they fume over the “rave to Eminem in God’s house”.

The sold-out two night event has been slammed as “absurd” and branded an “alcohol-fuelled rave” by critics.

Leaders at the Church say the event hopes to reach out to younger people and raise “large sums” to keep the Cathedral running.
