Wave Goodbye to Another Set of Freedoms With the New Digital ID

By Shawna / April 20, 2024 /

In the 1980s, Australians fought hard against a similar national ID program, what has changed since then?
With the passing of the government’s Digital ID bills, Australians will have to become used to the digital equivalent—so what does that say about present-day Australia?
A few things have surprised me over the last few years, not the least the way the famous Aussie spirit of insubordination has been subsumed into a goody-two-shoes compliance with whatever capricious orders the authorities made.
I can’t imagine our forebears accepting lockdowns and forced vaccinations, and I certainly couldn’t see them accepting an identity card linking not just government accounts but private sector ones as well.
While the first proposition is an assertion based on a gut feeling, the second is very much based on fact.

Biden White House Signs on to New Gates-Funded Pandemic Surveillance Plan

By Roli / April 18, 2024 /

The Biden White House on Tuesday announced a new 50-country partnership to “combat future pandemics” by identifying and responding to infectious disease outbreaks, journalist Kim Iversen reported on a recent episode of “The Kim Iversen Show.”

The administration released a 64-page document detailing the program, which it said aims to strengthen “global health security” and “prevent, detect and effectively respond to biological threats wherever they emerge.”

“We know exactly what that means,” Iversen said. “They’re going to be hunting down Disease X, which is what the [World Economic Forum] called it during their Davos meeting, where they’re like, ‘We’ve got to be prepared for Disease X, because Disease X is going to get us all.’”

WEF Pushing Digital IDs to Enforce Vaccination Compliance

By Iron Will / April 15, 2024 /

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is pushing for digital ID technology to be used as a tool to enforce global vaccination compliance.

The WEF is pushing for the “digital identity” system to include support for users to prove their “vaccination status.”

As the digital ID will be required to use certain services, members of the general public could be denied access based on their vaccine history.

Specifically, the WEF wants people to prove that they’ve received certain vaccines before they can access the so-called metaverse.

The metaverse is an emerging virtual reality version of the Internet where people can “live,” work, buy items, “meet with friends,” and access social media.

Big Brother in Training? How Proposed Legislation Might Pave the Way for Online Age Verification and Digital ID

By Iron Will / April 15, 2024 /

New child safety bills spark concerns over potential federal push for sweeping digital IDs.

Bipartisan legislative efforts are underway in the US House of Representatives to adopt new versions of two laws originally drawn up to deal with the safety of youth online.

But the fear is that the bills introduced now – H.R.7891, the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), and H.R. 7890, the Children and Teens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) 2.0 – will facilitate implementation of a future sweeping age verification and digital ID push.

These concerns are raised because KOSA is directing the secretary of commerce, together with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to conduct a study “evaluating the most technologically feasible methods and options for developing systems to verify age at the device or operating system level.”

David Webb: How to Stop ‘The Great Taking’ and Protect Your Property from Bankers

By Iron Will / April 15, 2024 /

David Rogers Webb is a former hedge fund manager and author of The Great Taking. David states in his book that there is a global elite implementing a system to take everything from everyone. David emphasizes that this agenda is particularly evident in property rights and ownership of securities.

The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) was changed in all states in 1994 and property rights were redefined. People no longer have property rights, but instead have an appearance of a property right.

Webb said that said that bankering elites are working to create conditions so dire that people will have no alternative or parallel system and will be forced to accept central bank digital currency (CBDC). Ultimately there is no place to hide from the destruction of property rights and economic ruin. It must simply be stopped. The UCC codes must be restored on a state level.

Smart Bangladesh 2041: Balancing ambition with reality

By Valerie / April 15, 2024 /

Bangladesh aims to be a “Smart” nation by 2041 as the country goes through a drastic transformation founded on digital identity and innovation. Bangladesh, a technologically backward country, has made a remarkable journey towards mass digitization. Bangladesh established the foundation for its digital transformation between 2009 to 2021. Among its advances, the initiation of Union Digital Centers (UDC) and the development of the national e-Government Master Plan and biometric national ID card in 2016 are intended to catapult development in the country, while collaborations with global tech leaders like Oracle and Samsung underline the rising significance Bangladesh places on its virtual sphere. Despite the improvements, obstacles persist, such as digital service quality, internet security, and the need for greater computer literacy, highlighting the complexities of Bangladesh’s transition.

Research published in the International Journal of Qualitative Research late last year examines Bangladesh’s transition to a Smart Bangladesh. It investigates the existing technical landscape, government initiatives, and societal integration to find barriers to this move. Key findings include Bangladesh’s paradigm shift from digital to smart, challenges in implementation, and the need for stakehold
