Nearly 37,000 Quebecers were the victims of frauds in 2023, an increase of 15 per cent over the previous two years, according to the Association des directeurs de police (ADPQ).

The ADPQ announced the “worrisome increase” in the number of frauds during a press conference Wednesday at the Sûreté du Québec’s headquarters in Montreal.
