A local builder is planning a massive 3,817-unit development made up of 51 buildings near the city’s Oakridge neighbourhood, one of the largest in memory.

Esam Group has submitted to city hall its proposal, 20 years in the making, for the Beaverbrook community that envisions 18 highrise towers in addition to several mid-rise apartments and townhouses at 323 Oxford St. and 92 and 825 Proudfoot Lane.
