Drugged Driving’s Doubled

By Iron Will / June 27, 2023 /

Drug impaired driving rates have doubled since Parliament legalized marijuana, says a Department of Justice report. Legalization was accompanied by Bill C-46 An Act To Amend The Criminal Code that allowed random roadside drug testing.

“The rate of drug-impaired driving offences increased 105 percent from 2017 to 2020, from nine to 19 offences per 100,000 population respectively,” said the report Cannabis Crime Statistics. “Due to the new legislation, police have additional means available to detect drug-impaired driving which may in part explain this increase.”

“The rate of drug-impaired driving offences increased in all but two jurisdictions,” it said. The exceptions were Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.

By Iron Will / June 26, 2023 /

A Florida firefighter says God helped him and his wife to start their family after nearly ten years of trying to have a baby.

The firefighter, who has chosen to remain anonymous to protect his family’s privacy, was on duty in Ocala, FL on January 2. At 2 a.m. he heard the alarm go off at the Safe Haven Baby Box located at the fire station.

“To be honest, I thought it was a false alarm,” the firefighter told TODAY.com.

When he opened the box he saw a healthy baby girl wrapped in a pink blanket.

The Safe Haven Baby Box allows someone to safely and anonymously surrender a child legally – no questions asked.

There are multiple baby box locations in multiple states and baby drawers in Arizona. Baby Drawers were introduced by Banner Hospital. These locations are accessible from the outside of the building and are equipped with silent alarms so you can surrender your newborn no questions asked! The Right to ‘Pray in Peace’: German High Court Issues Big Abortion Clinic Prayer Ruling

By Iron Will / June 26, 2023 /

Germany’s highest administrative court has struck down bans against peaceful prayer gatherings near abortion facilities because they violate the country’s constitution.

The Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig, one of five supreme courts in Germany, ruled on June 20 that bans against prayer vigils outside of abortion clinics encroach upon the constitutional right of freedom of assembly as guaranteed by the Basic Law of 1949, the constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany.

It is a major win for the pro-life advocacy group 40 Days for Life led by Pavica Vojnović. A regional court already had confirmed the group’s right to peaceful assembly in August 2022, but that ruling was appealed by the city of Pforzheim. The new ruling confirms that the city has no appeal
