Antisemitism is Disgracing Canada

By Valerie / May 1, 2024 /

The extent to which Canada has become an abyss of antisemitism has been amply demonstrated in the wake of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The open antisemitism displayed by the Palestinian protesters is a disgrace to our country. Antisemitism is no more acceptable in Canada than is Islamophobia or Christophobia. Yet, the Trudeau government remains deafeningly silent about the alarming rise in antisemitism

LIFESTYLE Facebook Twitter Flipboard Email Copy 206 Comments Daily showers are purely ‘performative’ and have no real health benefit, experts insist

By Valerie / April 30, 2024 /

Call it perfume-ative hygiene.

Experts say the daily shower has no proven health benefit, dismissing the dousing as a socially accepted practice geared toward staving off accusations of funkiness — as A-listers like Jake Gyllenhaal and Mila Kunis admit they’ve been saying no to the nozzle.

“Why are we washing? Mostly because we’re afraid somebody else will tell us that we’re smelling,” environmentalist Donnachadh McCarthy told the BBC.

In Praise of Nationalism and the Diversity of Nations

By Roli / April 28, 2024 /

Robert Malone Address, 28 April 2024, Make Europe Great Again Conference, Bucharest, Romania

I come here today to praise nationalism and the diversity of nations as laboratories for innovation and adaptation to changing conditions.

There are many lessons that we can learn from the COVID crisis, but one of the key ones has to do with “what is globalism”. We toss this term around, we never seem to define it. It’s as if it’s amorphous beast. We can’t put our hands around it. Globalism is central planning. Romania understands central planning. The former residents of the Soviet Union understand central planning. We understand the harm that comes from central planning, from bureaucrats determining our future, making decisions about how a nation state, an economy of people, should adapt to changing conditions.

Make comedy legal again!

By Valerie / April 28, 2024 /

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld teed off on the political Left during an interview published over the weekend, in which he blamed them for killing comedy on television.

Seinfeld told The New Yorker that in the past nothing has really impacted comedy because people have always needed it.

“They need it so badly and they don’t get it,” he said. “It used to be, you would go home at the end of the day, most people would go, “Oh, ‘Cheers’ is on. Oh, ‘M*A*S*H’ is on. Oh, ‘Mary Tyler Moore’ is on. ‘All in the Family’ is on.” You just expected, there’ll be some funny stuff we can watch on TV tonight.”

The Vast Pharmaceutical Conspiracy to Silence Online Dissent

By Roli / April 26, 2024 /

Almost any viewpoint can be “proven” using the “correct” evidence and logic. Purely as a challenge, I’ve successfully done this in the past with beliefs I consider to be abhorrent and completely disagree with. Once you become familiar with the process, you begin to gain an appreciation for how ephemeral the truth is and how problematic it is that most people have filters they see through reality through that lead to them doing this even if it’s not deliberate (although if you watch carefully for it, you’ll often see non-verbal signs that show they are somewhat aware they are lying to themselves).

For some reason, this realization directly conflicted with my deepest values (which to this day I don’t know the source of as they just existed long before I had learned about the world), so my own way of seeing the world reoriented around trying to discern what was actually true rather than proving I was right (e.g., to hold onto the illusion I know what was going on) in the hopes the truth could become something tangible rather than this ephemeral fiction our hands and minds constantly passed through. In turn, a major reason why I approach most topics I present here by fairly presenting both sides is because I found it was one of the things necessary for me to pass through that ephemeral layer of truth that clouds almost everything.

Canadian PoliticsCultureEXCLUSIVE Proposed B.C. law wants minority-only committee to “eliminate systemic racism”

By Valerie / April 24, 2024 /

A British Columbia NDP MLA is trying to get taxpayers to fund a no-whites-allowed committee to “eliminate systemic racism.”

MLA Niki Sharma has proposed the creation of a “racialized” committee under Bill 23, the Anti-Racism Act. If passed, the committee would create a framework for the province to combat racism.

All members of the Provincial Committee on Anti-Racism, under the bill, would have to be “racialized” and “have expertise in working to eliminate systemic racism and advance racial equity.”

Taylor Swift Faces Racial, Gender Backlash for Singing She Would Like to Have Lived in 1830’s

By Valerie / April 24, 2024 /

The woke mob is turning on Taylor Swift for her new song “I Hate It Here” in which she sings that she would have liked to have lived in the 1830’s.

A growing number of online commenters have called out Swift for minimizing slavery and female oppression — even though Swift caveats her choice by referencing both subjects. One commenter even admonished Swift for being insufficiently “intersectional” in her activism.

Taylor Swift released “I Hate It Here” last week with the surprise drop of her new album The Tortured Poets Department.
