President-elect Donald Trump urged hockey legend Wayne Gretzky to run for prime minister of Canada on Wednesday, saying that he would win easily without even campaigning.
Trump, who met with Gretzky on Christmas, said that the hockey player didn’t appear to have any interest in running, but that Canadians should start a campaign to convince him to run. Gretzky, who played 20 seasons in the NHL, won four Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers and holds numerous professional hockey records.
