As we revealed yesterday, a leading Conservative MSP, Murdo Fraser, found out almost by accident that his name was in police files.
One of his online posts, criticising the SNP Government’s transgender policy, led to an activist branding the tweet a hate crime, and calling in Police Scotland and the Holyrood standards watchdog.
