A northern Virginia high school senior is suing her school district over its transgender policies, arguing they put her safety as risk and violate the constitutional protections of her religious belief.

The lawsuit was filed Monday against Fairfax County Public Schools by the group America First Legal on behalf of the female student.

Among the cited safety concerns, as a result of the district’s policies for transgender students, is requiring girls to share restrooms and locker rooms with transgender students.

The suit also cites the student being required to use “preferred pronouns” that “forces her to lie” about the biological reality of sex, according to The Washington Examiner.
